Australian waters this season sees Zhik again sponsor many classes, supporting sailors right across the nation.

Mike Krantz began working with Zhik while at Layline, which was then the representation for Zhik in the USA. More recently in June, however, he decided to leave Layline in order to put 100% focus on Zhik USA.

Some months ago Zhik got a call from World Champ Tasar sailors, Rob and Nicole Douglass. "We are helping Chris Meehan set up a Tasar for Prince Frederik", Rob said, "bring your gear down to the club". Chris tested the gear and loved it. He then suggested Zhik put something special together for the World Masters Games. As you may have seen in the press lately, both Chris and Frederik looked sensational in it, with DEN flags blazing.

Zhik Team members Rob and Nicole Douglass have taken out the Tasar World Championships in Japan. Backing up their record from previous championships, they continue to prove to the fleet that they are the world number 1.
