The race to Paris
The Sailing World Championships event has begun! Every four years, not only do the world’s best sailors compete for the world title, this is a qualifying event for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. In contrast to the Olympic Games, for which only one team per Olympic class per country qualifies, several teams from all countries may participate in this event.
As the Sailing World Championships kick off, Zhik’s Team athletes, representing over 10 nations, are preparing their kit bags. With a mixed forecast of strong winds through to lighter conditions, the teams will need to be prepared for a whole range of conditions.
Zhik has had a long and dominating presence on World and Olympic podiums over the last 20 years and we wish all of our Zhik Team Sailors, including the Australian Sailing Team and Danish Sailing Association the best of luck.
