Danish Sailing Team
Since 2018, Zhik has been the official sailing apparel and technical equipment partner for the Danish Sailing team. Danish sailings top athletes are directly involved with the Zhik R&D process, providing feedback regarding fabrics and technical details to meet the ever-changing requirement of Olympic level sailing and continued performance of Zhik gear.
The Danish Sailing Team works with three national teams under the common name. The National Sailing team consists of the very best Danish sailors who have achieved top 10 results in the world, The Youth National Team which supports youth talent as they compete around the world, and The Development National Team which brings together up and coming talent who are aspiring to become part of the National Sailing Team.
ADVICE YOU WOULD GIVE TO YOUNG SAILORS AIMING FOR THE TOP LEVEL

Just go hard at it. It doesn’t matter what you do but if you work hard it will be good.

My best advice for young sailors that are dreaming to be the best in sailing would be, firstly it has to be fun so choose a boat where there is a good class environment and sailors who push each other every day.

The most important thing do is just work hard. You need to be able to push yourself mentally and when you think it is tough you just need to work even harder.

I am currently studying Architecture, so most likely something in that field. I really like drawing and really looking forward to seeing what architecture has in store for me.

I think I would still be into sport. I had been doing a lot of football when I was young but also badminton, it is a big sport in Denmark. So probably competing in one of those sports if I wasn’t sailing.
